I loved it. Absolutely loved it. I grew up just across the Hudson from NYC and had wanted to see the stage play back then. Never had the chance and the movie was every bit as good as I ever thought it would be.
Johnny Depp really pulled off an excellent roll as did Helena Bonham Carter, Rickman and even Wormtail.
My husband went under protest especially after I mentioned it was sort of a musical. He came out and had to admit he liked it. Had him on the edge of his seat a few times even.
