The purpose of the comm as described in the user info:
The purpose of this group is to make frequent hand-crafted donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. St. Jude is a wonderful place, where sick children are never turned away because their parents cannot pay. For more information on the facility and its beliefs, please see www.stjude.org.
It's a wonderful idea and a great way to help someone else who could use a crafted hug as they fight their illness. Please go check outchemocrafters and if you can join in and craft some love.
