Picking up with where we left off with Day 1
Waking the next morning, we had a light breakfast and then took off for Safari Sanctuary in Broken Arrow. While there is a zoo in Tulsa, this really interested us, especially Joe who loves the Big Cats, because you could feed them. They are reasonable for admission and for $8 we got a bag of 10 chicken legs to feed the kitties, and he did! All funds raised goes back into the upkeep and care of the animals there. These have all come to them from "other situations". For example, one of the tigers, had been kept as a pet in a condo and abused by its owner.
There were LIONS

and TIGERS

and BEARS

Oh MY! And even a LIGER

There there was the Tiger known as TwoPaw... good name for a con artist and that, he was. When he first came to the Sanctuary, he had to have two of his toes on one foot removed due to injury. He an now walk just fine.........
........unless a tour comes through with food. The bigger the tour? The more he limps and cries. Yep, he "works the crowd" with his own little scam :D lol. He does so well, the black leopards (panthers) in the next cage have started limping when tours come through.

Feeding time!!!!!!!!!

Along with the big cats, we got to see
Peafowls

Turtles

Goats and 'roos

and on the way out.......
......... Well, I'll just let this photo speak for itself!

Stopped at a BassPro store and I sipped a Pumpkin Spice Latte at the Starbucks there while Joe explored and window shopped to his heart's content.

Spent the evening relaxing in the room.
Day 3 to come yet!
