Someone on The Leaky Cauldron Lounge staff got the idea that we should all get pedicures this weekend. Well for once, I was actually ahead of the plan as I had just gotten one that day. We have a beauty college in Poteau and for under $30 I can get facial, wax, pedicure and manicure and that's even with the tip! Had done so as part of my 'recovery' from my 16 day marathon trip.

Someone else got the idea of pedicures and flipflops...from there it went to decorating flipflops and then decorating them in house colors. So it is I present to you my Hufflepuff Flip Flops!

Think I'm going to pass on Portus... tickets soooo much higher than PR and Terminus. However, looks like my husband might be joining me at Terminus... He's considering doing a proposal on an Ancient Runes Workshop! :D

That would interest Us, We are into the actual magic as well as the literary workshops.

We're skipping Prophecy, as it's in Canada; [livejournal.com profile] alabastardragon is a new immigrant from the UK and can't leave the country for two years.

Portus is costly, but looks to be huge and in a gorgeous resort, and of course, We'll be at Terminus.

Yes and Portus is only 5 hours from me so I may give in and go. But will have to wait and see how things are.

I'm like you. I too am interested in the actual magic. Thoroughly enjoyed the workshop on Divinations at this one.

Hubby has spent quite a bit of time studying the vikings and celts and we both have a deep interest in the runes. One of the good things about town we live in is it is the site of an actual viking runestone: http://www.heavener.k12.ok.us/community/runestone/rune.htm

Oops rambling :)

Rambling is good...

Very interesting bit there...

We were so busy, we missed out on every workshop we wanted to hit, argh.
