There is an amazing group of women that work at The Leaky Cauldron that I have had the joy of working with for the past two years -- the Crafty Witches. We get the fun of finding and sharing fantastic tutorials and craft ideas all Harry Potter related with visitors to both the Leaky Cauldron Main Site and the Leaky Lounge.

When I first came on board, I had been crafting Harry Potter related items for about a year already and even though I was part of an online Harry Potter crafting group, had no idea how many different possibilities and patterns were already out there. I was amazed and this amazement still exists today. Just when I think nothing new could be found, one of us comes across a pattern that we can use as a tutorial on Leaky Cauldron that surprises us at the ingenuity.

This work has stretched my abilities as a crafter, pushing me to try new things and increase my difficulty levels. This crafting has also opened up so many new and wonderful friendships both online and in real life with talented crafters and wonderful people I would have never met any other way.

We thought this blog would be a good way for you to get to know the people behind the titles “Crafty Witch” better. It is a chance for us to share our crafting journeys and maybe spark some ideas in some of our readers. Each week, one of us will spend time with you and we are all looking forward to it!
